Total Eclipse of the Full Moon
On Saturday 10th December you can witness the last total eclipse of the moon for this year, 2011. It should be a fairly spectacular event, although from Cyprus we will not get to see all stages of the eclipse, but we should get to see the best part.
Be ready to watch for the moon rising at 4.31pm on Saturday. The eclipse will already have taken place, and what you should see is a totally eclipsed full moon rising, which should shortly go a blood red colour. The event will be over by 7.30pm.
Eclipses of the moon and sun never cease to amaze us, and we always try to watch when one occurs. Hope you get to see it too, especially when it turns to red!
