Aphrodite Hills Golf Course in Paphos will set the stage for the 2010 PGA Euro Pro Golf  Tour Championship Final. This championship final tournament will be aired live on worldwide TV channels including Sky Sports.

The competition covers 3 days from Thursday 30th September, through to Saturday 2nd October. Spectators will be allowed free entrance into Aphrodite Hills 18-hole Championship Golf Course on all 3 competition days to watch the players compete.

This major sporting event is the culmination of 18 regional golf tournaments contested throughout the UK between 650 registered golf professionals. The top 60 players then go head to head in this final in Cyprus to win the  €75,000 Euro prize fund. It is certain to attract a lot of Cyprus golf fans.

The players will be teeing off on each of the 3 competition days at around 9am, and should be finishing around 2pm, however the finishing times may vary.

Food and drink will be available to purchase at any of the resort’s food and beverage outlets which include the Clubhouse Restaraurant, a Pizzaria and a Kebab shop. Standard menu prices will apply. On Saturday 2nd October spectators will be able to purchase sandwiches.

At this time the full list of players for this competition is not available, however two players who recently secured their places in the competition are Daniel Gaunt and Craig Lee. Other likely competitors are Matthew Evans and James Hepworth.

Aphrodite Hills Golf Course is located in the Kouklia area of Paphos.

We would like to remind our readers that Friday 1st October is Cyprus Independence day, and is declared a public bank holiday. This is the 50th anniversary of Cyprus Independence, and there will be military displays on that day in Nicosia, as well as music and dance celebrations both in Nicosia and other towns and villages.
