Great news to start the new year – The official Cyprus Sales will begin today!

The announcement came from the Minister for Commerce, Industry and Tourism who decreed that the winter sales may start early (7th January), and it is expected that they will affect January inflation, as they do every year.

As is usual, the sales will apply to clothing, shoes and household items.

The minister declared that the sales may continue until Thursday 27th February, 2010.

So lets go shopping! Sales can be found in many shops and stores in all the major towns in the Republic of Cyprus.
