If you love food, and who doesn’t, then the Gastronomia – Gastrognosia Exhibition is going to get your taste buds flowing.
The exhibition will be held from Thursday 4th through to Sunday 7th February at the Cyprus State Fair’s Grounds in Nicosia. The opening times will be;
Thursday: 5pm to 8.30 pm
Friday: 4pm to 8.30 pm
Saturday & Sunday: 2pm to 8.30 pm
The exhibition will include food, beverage, confectionery & bakery products, ice cream, accessories and professional kitchen equipment. Although the main purpose of the exhibition is to inform professionals from Cyprus and abroad of new tendencies, innovations & technologies in their respective fields and promote collaboration between them, there is also the opportunity for consumers to be informed of new products & services as well as developments in all sectors covered by this exhibition.
The public can also watch interesting cooking and pastry shows, as well as food tasting. Another highlight of the exhibition will be on Saturday 6th February from 2.30 pm till 5.30 when the Cyprus Bar Tenders Association will be holding the 6th Cyprus National Competition Cocktail ‘Free Style’ Category, and the 5th Cyprus National Competition ‘Flair Tending Style’ Category. This is sure to bring in the crowds as it has done in past competitions.
Gastronomia Gastrognosia is expected to draw over 15,000 visitors from Cyprus and abroad with a ratio of 40% professional and 60% public.
