Charity Christmas Fair Paphos
On Wednesday 7th December there will be a charity Christmas Fair organised by the Anglican Church in Paphos. This is an annual event, and its sole aim is to raise funds for deserving Cypriot charities, as well as to offer the public an afternoon of fun and entertainment of course.
The Christmas Fair (Fayre) will commence at 12 noon and continue until 4pm. The venue is The ‘Monte Liza’ Wedding Venue, Mesogi Avenue, Paphos. Admission will be 1 Euro for adults, whilst children enter for free.
This Christmas Charity Event usually has a lot to offer, and draws many visitors not only from Paphos, but from all around Cyprus. There will be a variety of stalls selling things such as Books, Plants, Poinsettias, Recycled Greetings Cards, Rainbow Gifts, Christmas Decorations, Handicrafts, Cakes, Jams and Preserves, Home-made Sweets, Nearly New Clothing and Bric a Brac.
From 1pm until 2pm the Cyprus Police Band will be there to entertain.
There will also be attractions to try your luck on, such as Tombola, Bottle Stall, Water or Wine? Treasure Hunt, and Roll a Coin. Keep hold of your program too, as it may be a lucky prize winner. And someone will walk away 500 Euros richer with the first prize in the Grand Raffle!
A wide range of refreshments will be available to buy, such as pork baps, sandwiches, mince pies and mulled wine, egg and bacon baps, hot dogs, and hamburgers, together with tea, coffee and soft drinks. Sounds delicious.
Make sure you don’t miss this Cyprus Christmas Charity Event, have a fun afternoon whilst also contributing to good causes. Last years event saw 15,000 Euros distributed to Cyprus charities, lets see if we can help increase that amount this year.
