Cyprus Events 2012

Tonight sees the start of a month long festival of culture in Ayia Napa.

There are events taking place every Thursday night at 8pm in the town hall, as well as a Tuesday event. These events are designed to highlight the Cypriot and Greek culture, with shows of traditional dance and music. A splendid way to pass a few of the colder February nights wrapped in the warmth of Cyprus traditional music and dance.

The full program for February Cultural Festival is as follows;

All events commence at 8pm inside the Agia Napa town hall.

Thursday, 4th February:

Traditional Cypriot Dances with the Kimon Xylotymbou dance group.

Thursday, 11^th February:  

Burn the Floor with the Shiakallis dance group.

Tuesday, 16^th February:

Classical music with the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra.

Thursday, 18^th February:

Music from the Greek islands with the Aradippos Folklore Association.

Thursday, 25^th February:

Classical music with Andreas P. Nicolaou music group.
